2. Application Information
2.1 Requirements for Applicants:
Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport; graduated from high school or above; between 18 and 55 years old. Guarantee statement should be submitted if less than 18 years old.
Ø English proficiency:
IELTS (A) 6.0 or TOEFL IBT 80 or above; Other internationally recognized English proficiency tests with scores of the same level and provide proof of certificates;
The following types of applicants are exempt from taking the TOEFL or IELTS:
l Native speakers of English;
l The previous degree is fully taught in English.

2.4 Application Procedures
l Step 1: Apply via https://shu.edu.cn/. Click “Apply Now” and sign up with your email address.
l Step2: Select the“Non-degree Program”- “Summer School”- 2024 Shanghai University Summer School;
l Step 3: Upload materials and submit applications;
l Step 4: Pay application fee online (For scholarship recipients, please choose “Pay application fee when arrive”.);
l Step 5: Please confirm your e-admission notice to complete your application.
3.About Visa
X2 visa (staying no more than 180 days)
*L visa is not accepted.
4. About Fees
4.1 Basic Package
* All students should finish the payment(RMB 9070) before June 15, 2024 and send your receipt to apply3@oa.shu.edu.cn.
4.2 Accommodation fees (standard)
*Accommodation fee will be charged according to the actual costs.
4.3 Shanghai Summer School Scholarship:
It includes program fee, accommodation fee(double room) and the accident insurance fee for the duration of the trip. The scholarship quota is 20.
*The free accommodation is provided during the program period, 29 nights in total. Self-funded for extra stay.
