35 SHU Disciplines Rank Among the Top 50% Disciplines for the Most Updated 2019 ARWU

On October 30, ARWU officially released 2019’ s ranking of China's best disciplines, covering 96 first-level disciplines, adding three disciplines (Systems Science, Armament Science and Technology, Landscape Architecture) over last year. The ranking targeted all the universities with academic postgraduate degree programs within the first-level discipline and published the top 50% of universities.

A total of 4,986 disciplines from 460 universities were listed in the ranking. SHU boasts 35 disciplines listed (see the table below).
