The online Chinese Language Bridge Program at Shanghai University is tailored for conditionally admitted students who are academically admissible but did not achieve good HSK score or could not attend the HSK test abroad because of the COVID-19. The online Chinese courses are available to prepare these students to meet the Chinese proficiency requirements for their degree program at Shanghai University. Upon completing all the courses students will receive a certificate of completion and be admitted directly to degree programs without the HSK Certificate.

To meet the needs of students with different Chinese proficiency levels, the program offers courses of HSK Level 4, LEVEL 5 and Level 6. The course content closely integrates the REQUIREMENTS of the HSK test, focuses on listening, reading and writing.

The international Students who have got HSK 4 180 or above and are academically admitted by Shanghai University’s degree program.

Note: During the application period, applicants can be enrolled and start the courses anytime. The replayed courses are available for late risers.

Step2: Submit the application for degree program, and get the conditional pre-admission notice.
Step3: submit the application for CLBP Program in the application system, upload the conditional pre-admission notice.
Step4: Finish the online payment of application fee.
Step5: Wait for the admission result.
Application Fee: 500 YUAN, non-refundable
Note: the application fee is only for CLBP. Applicants shall pay the degree program application fee separately.
