If the reservation is not successful, please find a safe and reliable rental room or hotel before arrival in Shanghai.A. According to Law of the PRC on Entry and Exit of foreigner and the rules governing the implementation of the law, foreigners shall register their residence in China within 24 hours of arrival.If you are staying at a hotel or hostel, the staff there will automatically do it for you. If you ask, they will give you the form. Please make sure they stamp it with the hotel or hostel' seal.If you are renting an apartment or staying with your friends, you need to go to the local police station yourself. The landlord should bring along the Certificate of Residence, Certificate of Housing, lease contract, and their ID card. If there is an urgent need to obtain a temporary residence registration form, you can still go to the window of the police station to submit written materials for declaration.B.  Reminders for off-campus Accommodationa) Read the items in the rent contract carefully before signing any contract, if you are not clear enough about the contract please do not sign it or it means you have accepted all the provisions in the contract.b) If the contract only in Chinese version and you can not understand the provisions in the contract, you can consult our office for that. Please do not sign any contract without fully understanding the contract lest being cheated.c) If you have any doubt about the housing agency, please consult our staff in office. Do not pay anything to the agency before signing the contract and do not believe in any oral promises of staff in housing agency.d) After signing the contract and completing the payment, please ask for the formal invoice from housing agency. Important ReminderRegistration of temporary residence should be done within first 24 hours after entry.  Students who live on campus should apply for Registration Form of Temporary Residence at reception of International Student Apartment.  Students who live off-campus should get the registration form issued by the hotel or the police substation of the area where the lodging takes place, or fill online application to register.Ⅶ. Pick-up ServiceShanghai University provides free pick up service at Pudong International Airport within the specified date and paid pick up service at other time periods for freshmen. Ifyour university has signed agreement with us but is not on the list, please contact us.课程模块 Academic Modules上海大学为交换生提供四个课程模块,分别是:汉语强化课程模块、英语授课的商务相关课程模块、英语授课的DBIC课程模块、中文授课的本科课程模块。其中,受疫情影响,中文授课的本科课程模块暂不开放。被提名的学生需要确保所选择的课程和学分等被您的大学接受。请注意,只能选择一个模块以避免时间表冲突。关于入境政策,以中国外交部和中国国家移民管理局通知为准,境外学生未接到学校通知一律不返校。SHU now provide four modules for incoming exchange students- - - Module of Chinese Language, Module of Major Courses Taught in English ( Business related), Module of Credit Courses Taught in English ( DBIC), and Module of Major Courses Taught in Chinese for bachelor students. In addition, the Module of Major  Courses  Taught  in  Chinese  for bachelor  students  is  currently not  open. The nominated students need to make sure that the modules you choose  are accepted by  your home University. Note that only one module can be taken to avoid the conflicted timetable.The entry policy is subject to notifications from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and  the National Immigration Administration of China. Foreign students should not come to SHU without receiving notice from SHU.第一模块-汉语强化课程模块 Module 1Module of Chinese Language 提供线上课程 Online Courses Are Available选择此模块的学生将和其他国际学生一起参加汉语强化课程。课程内容包括HSK考试训练、中国书法、中国歌曲和中国概况等,课程目标是提高学生的汉语听力、口语、阅读和写作以及了解与中国相关的知识。课程共分为五个等级,从A级 (初学者) 到E级 (最高级) ,在开学时会进行分班考试,学生可以从零基础开始学习,每学期课程共18周。The incoming students will join in the Intensive Chinese Program with other international students to enhance Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing,  as  well  as  China- related  knowledge  through lectures  for HSK examination,  Chinese calligraphy,  Chinese songs and overview  of China. Students participating in online courses cannot apply for on- campus accommodation. Students who successfully apply must check in on time. The dormitory types include single and double rooms, 140 yuan per day for single rooms and 70 yuan per day for double rooms.
